1. STRIKING BACK @ BS strip-miners - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Griefers like you tell people who aren't interested in getting ganked that they should stick in high-sec systems. Then when they stick in high-sec systems, you find other ways of ruining their game experience. Bottom line is that you have endles...

2. Hated high-sec BS Miners? Nerf them? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
These issues puzzle me. I'm not a miner, but I have no problem with them mining in whatever ship they want, wherever they want. It doesn't affect me. They play the game their way, I play it my way. Bottom line for a MMOG is you have to try to enab...

3. Autopilot options : do they work ? - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Just a query. As a trader, I try to avoid any system of 0.4 or less. When I click the autopilot "prefer safer route" option, I never seem to get a different route than the standard "quicker" route. So I plot my routes manually now. But it seems a ...

4. Why EVE changed... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
The research that does exist into multiplayer games does show that only a small minority of players are player-killers (I forget the name of the chap, but he's the one who invented that spurious scale of killer, socializer, explorer, achiever, whi...

5. Is Trading a viable profession? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
What the others said : yes you can make money from trading. I'm sure there are some fantastically profitable routes which allow you to make a profit of 6m per trip. However, I've never found them. Don't expect to find such routes early or easy. U...

7. Curse Coalition !!!!!!! Curse Alliance !!!!!! - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
So, if Evolution are allies of ours now (MHI in Curse Coalition, and Evolution in SA) then who do I get compensation from for Vincent Price of Evolution destorying my [empty] Indy in Nonni today ? Because I know we're all keen to avoid the term "...

8. Why are all the best.... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Too many generalisations. As an ex-DAoC player on an English server (also including scandinavians and Dutch), I can tell you with some confidence that the Brits and other Euros do just as much flaming, confrontation and childish whining as any bun...

9. A Caldari Mining setup - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I used to use that ship and setup myself. I like my Osprey ! But if you really want to mine, then unless you have roleplay reasons for only wanting to use Caldari ships, I'd invest the time in Gallente cruisers.

10. A Caldari Mining setup - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
There's no particularly great tricks. Turrets are faster than drones, so largely I'd say that a Moa with 4 mining lasers (best you can get) plus 5 basic mining drones (I think 5 basics are better than 2 harvesters and a basic, but I'm not sure). Y...

11. MOA, the useless Caldari ship that could use some adjusting. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
The Moa's a good solid ship, for NPC pirate hunting or mining. I've got two 250 rails for long range, 1 dual 150 rail for closing, and 1 neutron blaster for those NPCs which spawn on top of me. Two large missile launchers (an arbalest and an upgra...

12. EVE Superhighways: The Saga Continues - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Whenever anyone suggests change, you have to look at who benefits and who suffers. Closing the superhighways would have three main impacts : First, it would benefit producers by restricting the market, as others have pointed out. Of course, anyt...
